“Lisa Bunker video chatted with my 7th graders today, and it was marvelous!  Each student asked her a question either about her novel Felix Yz, or about her life as a politician. Then, she kindly listened to them read their original poems that were inspired by Felix’s idea of the threeness of things. It could not have been a more perfect way to wrap up our unit.  The students were excited as they prepared for this visit and they enjoyed interacting with a real author. When Lisa told us about her second book, Zenobia July, the students decided to read that one as well.  Lisa Bunker has a knack with middle school students; she is extremely friendly and knows just how to keep them engaged.  If you are looking to spice up your class; contact Lisa!”
